Rory Culkin

Rory Culkin has appeared in a range of horror projects, beginning with his role as Charlie Walker in the 2011 slasher Scream 4. He followed that with parts in Intruders (2015), Jack Goes Home and Welcome to Willits (both 2016), and the period thriller The Last Thing Mary Saw (2021).

His most widely recognized early work includes the breakthrough performance as Rudy Prescott in You Can Count on Me (2000) opposite Laura Linney, and as Morgan Hess in M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs (2002) alongside Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix. He also played the younger version of his brother Kieran’s character in Igby Goes Down the same year.

Culkin went on to lead the ensemble in the independent drama Mean Creek (2004), which earned the young cast a shared Independent Spirit Award, and later took the title role in Gabriel (2014). Other notable film credits include Lymelife, Electrick Children, Columbus (2017), and his portrayal of Euronymous in the black-metal biopic Lords of Chaos (2018).

On television he has appeared in Waco, Under the Banner of Heaven, City on a Hill, and the Black Mirror episode “Beyond the Sea.” Recent film work includes 5lbs of Pressure and Dead Money.
