Denise Crosby is a versatile actress that has left an indelible mark on the horror genre. Best known for her role as Rachel Creed in the 1989 adaptation of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. Her horror credits include Dolly Dearest (1991), Relative Fear (1994), the horror anthology Mortuary (2005), The Watcher (2016), and Itsy Bitsy (2019).

Beyond horror, Crosby is widely recognized for her iconic roles as Lieutenant Tasha Yar and Commander Sela in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987-1994). She also appeared in films like 48 HRS (1982) and Deep Impact (1998).

Crosby has a recurring role on Showtime's series Ray Donovan. In 2014, she appeared in The Walking Dead as Mary, a member of a group of cannibals. Crosby also played the role of widow Margie Curtis in the TV series Bones She played the role of Special Master Faye Richardson in the legal drama Suits in its final season. Denise played the villainous Nurse Mary in Dexter and appeared in a 2021 episode of Creepshow.

Crosby’s stage work includes critically acclaimed performances in plays like Orpheus Descending. With a career spanning decades, she continues to captivate audiences through her dynamic presence and commitment to diverse, compelling roles.
