Anna Hutchison

Anna Hutchison is a New Zealand actress and producer who began on the soap Shortland Street (2002–04) as Delphi Greenlaw, then played Lily Chilman, the Jungle Fury Yellow Ranger, on Power Rangers Jungle Fury (2008). Other early credits include Allison Dine in the Australian miniseries Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities (2009) and Amy Smart on the New Zealand series Go Girls (2009–12).

Her best-known film role is Jules Louden in Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon’s The Cabin in the Woods (2012). Jules is a pre-med student who travels with her boyfriend Curt (Chris Hemsworth) and friends Dana, Holden, and Marty to a remote cabin. The film presents the five as standard horror archetypes, with Jules cast as “the whore.” In the story, a facility below the cabin drugs the group and uses pheromone mist to push Jules toward sexual behavior so the ritual can proceed. She is the first of the five to die, killed by the reanimated Buckner family after she and Curt leave the cabin. Hutchison played the role opposite Kristen Connolly, Jesse Williams, and Fran Kranz.

After Cabin she joined Spartacus: War of the Damned (2013) as Laeta, a Roman taken prisoner by Spartacus, and appeared as Sasha on Anger Management (2013–14). Later credits include Wrecker (2015), Sugar Mountain (2016), Vengeance: A Love Story (2017), and Morag in Robert the Bruce (2019), which she also produced. She has continued in television movies and guest roles, including a 2026 appearance on The Rookie.
