Michael Gross has numerous acting credits over his decades in film, television, and theater, but let's start with the horror. His horror legacy shines brightest in the Tremors franchise (1990–2020), where he embodied paranoid survivalist Burt Gummer across seven films and a 2003 series, battling subterranean Graboids.
Michael Gross's popularity exploded as liberal dad Steven Keaton on Family Ties (1982–1989), guiding a Reagan-era family with Michael J. Fox's Alex P. Keaton through 180 episodes of heartfelt comedy. Guest spots on ER, How I Met Your Mother, Boston Legal, Suits, Parks and Recreation, and The Young and the Restless (2008–2009) and TV movies like In the Line of Duty: The F.B.I. Murders (1988).
Some of Michael's other horror credits include Sometimes They Come Back... Again (1996), a predatory therapist in Big Brother Trouble (1999), and a haunted husband in An American Summer (1991).
Meet Michael all weekend at the Washington State Horror Con from October 24th through the 26th. He will be signing autographs, taking photos, and speaking on a panel at the show.
