Kevin McNally is an English actor and screenwriter whose career spans over four decades, marked by a blend of stage, screen, and voice work. His resume is massive including many horror credits along the way.

Recently, McNally starred as Roman Castevet in the 2024 horror prequel Apartment 7A, delving into occult terrors as a prequel to Rosemary's Baby with Julia Garner on Paramount+. His horror credits include Joseph Buquet in the 2004 The Phantom of the Opera and Henry Maddux in the 2012 horror-thriller The Raven, a Poe-inspired tale of serial murders. More recently, He also appeared in Curse of the Macbeths (2022), embodying Shakespearean dread with supernatural twists.

In 1984, he played Lieutenant Hugo Lang in Doctor Who: The Twin Dilemma, confronting alien horrors and psychological threats. He returned to the series in 2021 as Professor Eustacius Jericho. Other TV credits includes Craig Byatt in the 1995 supernatural drama Ghosts, Mr. Tibbs in the 2009 fantasy-horror Demons, and a homicide detective in the anthology Chiller (1995). He brought tech-savvy paranoia to the supernatural series Supernatural (2011–2012) as Frank Devereaux, aiding hunters against demonic forces.

Beyond horror, McNally achieved global fame as Joshamee Gibbs in all five Pirates of the Caribbean films (2003–2017), reprising the role in video games like Kingdom Hearts III. His film credits include historical dramas like Valkyrie (2008) and The Man Who Knew Infinity (2015), while TV highlights encompass I, Claudius (1976), Downton Abbey (2011–2012), Turn: Washington's Spies (2014–2017) as Judge Woodhull, and The Crown (2019–2020) as Bernard Ingham.
