Chris Sarandon went to Halloween icon status with his frightfully fun portrayal as the voice of Jack Skellington in the original Disney movie The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), reprising the role in sequels, video games (Kingdom Hearts) and Halloween special events.

Chris is an acclaimed actor with a notable presence in horror cinema. His initial horror role came in 1985 as Jerry Dandrige in Fright Night, where he portrayed a charismatic yet menacing vampire, earning praise for blending charm with terror. In 1988, Chris starred in Child's Play as Detective Mike Norris, a cop investigating the murderous doll Chucky's reign of terror. Sarandon also appeared in The Sentinel (1977), a supernatural horror film, playing Michael Lerman, a lawyer caught in a chilling demonic conspiracy.

Chris made his film debut as bank robber in Dog Day Afternoon (1975), earning the New York Film Critics award and Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for his supporting turn. Some of his early credits include Lipstick (1976), The Sentinel (1977), The Day Christ Died (1980), A Tale of Two Cities (1980), and Protocol (1984).

Many fans will instantly recognize Chris as the cruel, evil-plotting Prince Humperdinck in Rob Reiner's The Princess Bride (1987). He has many additional credits in film and television including: Perfume (2001), Loggerheads (2005), My Sassy Girl (2008), Fright Night (2011), Safe (2012), Frank the Bastard (2013), Big Stone Gap (2014) and I Smile Back (2015). His television role have included: "ER," "Charmed," "Cold Case," "Judging Amy," "Law and Order," "The Good Wife," "Orange Is the New Black" and as the voice of Dracula in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
