Ashley Bell

We are pleased to welcome Ashley Bell to the Washington State Horror Con lineup in Puyallup from October 24th through the 26th.

Ashley Bell rose to prominence with her chilling portrayal of Nell Sweetzer in The Last Exorcism (2010), earning nominations for an Independent Spirit Award and an MTV Movie Award for Best Scared-As-S**t Performance. Her raw, intense depiction of a possessed young woman captivated audiences.

Bell reprised the role in The Last Exorcism Part II (2013), further showcasing her ability to navigate psychological horror. She also starred as Vivian Fontaine in the gritty Carnage Park (2015) and Gina in Witch Hunt (2021), cementing her status as a versatile talent in the genre.

Beyond horror, Bell’s credits include The Day (2011), a post-apocalyptic thriller, and played Sister Margaret in Novitiate (2017).

Her television credits include United States of Tara (2009) and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2007), The Walking Dead: The Oath (2024) and her voice roles are featured in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run (2020) and video games like Alice in Wonderland (2010).

Bell’s passion extends to directing and producing, notably with her documentary Love & Bananas: An Elephant Story (2018), which highlights her commitment to animal welfare.
