Days Appearing:

Bonnie Aarons has carved a chilling niche in horror cinema with her unforgettable portrayal of Valak, the Demon Nun, in The Conjuring Universe. Her haunting performance in The Conjuring 2 (2016) introduced the terrifying entity, relying on her striking features and makeup rather than CGI, earning her a dedicated following.

She reprised the role in Annabelle: Creation (2017), The Nun (2018), and The Nun II (2023), cementing Valak as a modern horror icon. Aarons also left a mark in other horror films, including a creepy role as the Bum in David Lynch’s Mulholland Drive (2001), a brief but eerie appearance in Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell (2009), and a part in I Know Who Killed Me (2007), showcasing her knack for unsettling characters.

Beyond horror, Aarons has displayed versatility in over 40 acting credits since her debut in 1994’s Exit to Eden. She’s known for roles like Baroness Joy von Troken in The Princess Diaries (2001) and its sequel, plus appearances in Silver Linings Playbook (2012) and The Fighter (2010).

Meet Bonnie Aarons all weekend at the Washington State Horror Con from October 24th through the 26th. She will be signing autographs, taking photos, speaking on a panel at the show, and more.
